Purchased this rug for a lake house and I am are very pleased with it. It's cotton, so it's soft to walk on and despite the fact that it's a flat weave its surprisingly plush . Rug works in a lot of interiors and has the casual look we were looking for .
These rugs are in my foyer where I get tons of foot traffic due to my in home business. Children and adults are constantly walking through and I needed something to protect my wood floors, while looking classy and cute too. This rug does it all. I bought two to go side by side and I love how thick and durable they are, while adding an accent to the room. These arrived fast and came with no damage. The sale made it so much more amazing and I will be buying from these guys every time I need a rug!
I am in love with this rug. It’s soft, beautiful. It does stretch but it doesn’t look it’s shape. Definitely get the premium rug pad with it.
Pretty rug , but very thin. Put a thick felt pad underneath. Otherwise the rug bunches up. Took awhile to get the sides to straighten up with the pad. Don't tug on the rug too much the stitching between braids can pull apart. I will be putting a smaller wool rug across this one. Like pottery barn style. The rug is fine if you can just get it down right. - worth the price.
Bought the herringbone rug for our baby nursery and it looks and feels great! Will buy one for our bedroom next
I have looked at this rug for about 6 months after seeing it on multiple home blogs. I ordered it in the bleached(ivory) color to pair with a dark brown sectional and room that needed to be brightened. It does have a very shabby chic, casual look to it, which I love. The tassels make a nice statement and add to the rug. Personally, I think this rug does require a rug pad for the added cushion since the rug has a very open weave with no backing. I am now returning to order the natural color for my living room to pair with ivory slip-covered sofas.
Love how chic and modern this rug brings to my living room. Beautiful Ivory color and great for low traffic area.
The rug I received was great, loved the look of it. I have it under my dining room table and it's perfect. Very soft and neutral, just what I wanted!
I bought this rug for my son's playroom and its gorgeous! It sheds a bit and after about 4 days of vacuuming, still fills up the vacuum canister but is not as bad as some wool rugs - we are not covered in lint after sitting on it. The feel is very soft and would highly recommend.
We were looking for a natural rug that did not shed, was nutural color and soft. This rug nailed it on all points. It is very rich looking, doesn't shed, cleans up very well. Puppy throw,up on it first day and wash with water..no spots. Yea! Wish it came about a foot longer.
This is a great and hearty rug that is pretty enough to flow with my rustic farmhouse goal and tough enough to hold up with my 2 med/large dogs and cat. I have hard floors, so when they find carpet or material to lie on, they seem to lose their minds and have to roll all over and act like seals flopped on their sides grabbing with claws and turning themselves in circles. I can imagine it feels good on them. If one of the claws pulls a little on the rug, because it's jute/interwoven, I can just tuck and tighten in right back up, but it's strong enough that it takes them REALLY digging in with all of their 50 lbs. I love this pretty rug!!! This was money well spent!
I love this rug. It is just as great of quality as any other jute rug I have seen but at a much better price (if you wait for a huge sale that is!) I have a crawling 8 month old and think it is soft enough. It is not plush. If you are looking for something to be super comfortable this is not it. But if you do not need to surround your baby in chenille every moment of the day and want to have a stylish home, this rug is perfectly fine for crawling on, better then the hardwood floors. It is also a nice thickness so what it lacks in softness it makes up for in shock absorption.
