This rug looks like a $1500 rug!! It is beautiful. Sheds a bunch at the beginning and smells like raw wool but smell dissipates quickly. Rug is plush! Had one small stain on it when it arrived and water took it out right away. That is the beauty of 100% wool! Love it!!!

We placed this rug in our living room and it goes nicely with our furniture. It has little specks of tan in it. It is plush and soft to walk on. I have received many compliments. It is shedding slightly but I assume that's because it is new. A few vacuums has helped. There was a problem with shipping (I had ordered a couple rugs st the same time and this one was never delivered even though fedex said it was) RugsUSA had it out to me within 48 hours.

This rug is beautiful wool. Great texture and soft. I got the 8' runner in black for a hallway. Color is accurate. The rug slides all over the place and stretches when it slides. My little dog can wrinkle it up in one slide. Will require a pad. Don't hesitate. If you enjoy the look of a well taylored wool coat you will like this rug.
