This rug is just like the photo. It has a good shag and the tassels are sturdy. It is soft but if you want a super cushioned rug get the extra padding. But that didn't matter to me. Our roomba so far has no had an issue going over it but flipping up some of the tassels. The new rug chemical smell went away pretty quick. When we unrolled one end was super curled up. But after a couple hours with a 2x4 on it it flattened out fine

Just got this rug 2 days ago. I thought it might be to loud, but I love it.

Bought the 9x14 and it is stunning! Brought the entire room together, great quality, perfect pile (not too high, still cozy), and just a great piece. Used for a client design and would use again for sure.

I bought this a few weeks ago and I am in love. It took a bit to finally get in my hands but it was worth it. But they really need to get some larger sizes as the largest one was still a bit small in my room. But I am overall pleased

The rug is exactly what the description says. I would recommend the rug pad as it's so soft that you can kind of feel the floor. The pad will create more cushioning.

Wanted a rug for mainly aesthetic reasons and as I'm renting, I didn't want to spend a lot of money on it either. Rug arrived quickly and in good condition. It was easy to lay out by myself although I did have to weigh down one edge for about a week to stop it curling up. The pile isn't as nice as hand woven wool, but for this price I didn't expect it to be. I've been using it for a couple of weeks and so far no signs of shedding. I also bought a slip mat for under the rug and it is staying in place well. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.
