Feels great, doesn't smell.. the only reason I did not give it five stars is: it is still curling several weeks after buying it. I have laid 10 pound weights on each corner for several days at a time. You can vacuum it with a normal vacuum cleaner. I got the runner in (dark) gray with white diamonds.. Love the size & thickness! (I DID get the pad for underneath it, just because I didn't want slipping. But you don't need it for thickness, necessarily

Love the design, looks in person just like it does in the picture! The only reason I didn't give five stars is because it isn't quite as soft as I expected. Still a great rug for a great price.
