This rug is just like the photo. It has a good shag and the tassels are sturdy. It is soft but if you want a super cushioned rug get the extra padding. But that didn't matter to me. Our roomba so far has no had an issue going over it but flipping up some of the tassels. The new rug chemical smell went away pretty quick. When we unrolled one end was super curled up. But after a couple hours with a 2x4 on it it flattened out fine

great quality rug - thick, fluffy, and soft. note that the color of the stripe is a little lighter than it appears in the photo - more of a mocha than black or navy. was not a big deal at all for us.

Got this rug pretty quickly. It is absolutely stunning in person, the pictures on the website don't do justice at all. Simple and elegant addition to my den. It is pretty plush, however I'd definitely recommend a rug pad even if it is being placed under furniture.

It is extremely soft and does not shed at all. The rug does not smell as in other posts that i have seen written and was able to be laid out without curling up. We absolutely love this rug. It looks exactly like the photos. The fluffy parts are super soft under your feet and it feels really well made. We have had it for about 6 months now and it has not worn or snagged in any way. Most of all, it is easy to vaccuum and adds some fun texture to the room. You also cannot beat the price for the quality. Highly recommend!
