I love this rug and I couldn't wait to get it as it is always out of stock when I look. I ordered a size smaller than I wanted but it looks great in my daughter's room. It is very soft. It is on carpet so I can't speak to the comfort in regards to thickness. No shedding noticed
This rug is even better in person. Every time I walk by it, I think WOW!! Absolutely gorgeous and neutral so that everything else in the room pops.
